ABOUT US

Arkangelo Ali Association-International is a South Sudanese NGO registered under Relief and Rehabilitation Commission and Ministry of Legal Affairs and Constitutional Development. AAA was founded in November 2006. Its roots are in the health department of the Diocese of Rumbek, where Mrs Natalina Sala and Dr Minani Callixte started working in 1997 in South Sudan. The decision to transform the health department into an NGO was taken at the end of the war when reconstruction in Southern Sudan began in order to enlarge the area of operation and expand the services.

AAA has Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya under the umbrella of Verona Fathers (Comboni Missionaries Kenya Province). In South Sudan, AAA has country office in Juba.

Internationally AAA is a founder member of Bakhita Consortium along with 7 other Italian, Kenyan and South Sudanese NGOs/Association that works for the development of South Sudan.

AAA is implementing Health Program in 10 States out of 32 of South Sudan. AAA is more involved in Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programs.
