Educational Scientific & Technical Company (ESTEC) Ltd was founded in 1980 as a private registered company under Kenyan laws with the aim of providing Laboratory solutions including sales, distribution and technical support in East Africa region for research, industrial, educational & regulatory laboratories. The company main offices are based in Nairobi at Chromato House along Bungoma road off Baricho road.

During the last 35 years, the company has grown to be a leading dependable partner with a diverse range of clients in various fields and industries such as Pharmaceutical, Research, Food  & Beverages, Regulatory, Petroleum, Agriculture, Environmental and Education. Estec has won the confidence of leading global brands from Europe, Asia and USA by being appointed the dealer for Shimadzu (Japan), Anton-paar (Austria), Gerhardt(Germany), Phenomenex(USA) among many others.

In the year 2009, ESTEC received ISO/IEC/17025;2005 accreditation by Kenya Accreditation Services (KENAS) for calibration of Balances. In the year 2010, ESTEC opened a subsidiary office in Dar es salaam- Tanzania and is in the process of setting up another subsidiary office in Kampala –Uganda.

We boast of a strong team of technically skilled, experienced and reliable engineers capable of installing, training, and servicing analytical instruments. Our team also compromises of an application specialist, two pharmacists and well trained and experienced sales staff. We stock fast moving general Laboratory equipment and spare parts at our Nairobi workshop.
